Over the past couple of years we have had the opportunity to watch your relationship grow. We have become close to Patrick and see how happy he makes you, Alicia. We’ve also seen him leave the city behind when coming to our place. First incident being trapped under the snowmobile Alicia was driving. Graduating from the lawn tractor to a real “kracker”. Seeing his swimming skills and muscle flexing (we have pictures)! We can’t leave out being on his first “hunting trip”, OK it was in our backyard, but he did have to drag the deer out of the woods. That was the same weekend he witnessed Alicia literally providing the chicken for Thanksgiving (yes, there are pictures)! Alicia and Patrick, we always enjoy spending time with you guys, whether it is shooting pool or just having drinks around the bon fire, which Patrick is great at tending to. Of course, now we will be waiting for the sounds of little feet, from our four legged grandchildren. We wish you nothing but happiness and success, you certainly enhance each other. Wow, my little girl has grown into a beautiful, caring young woman and I couldn’t be more proud.
Over the years I have been privileged to watch you achieve your goals and obtain success. You have had obstacles along the way, such as becoming a diabetic at the age of 8. But I believe they have made you the strong person you are today.
It is hard to believe that we went from picking out party dresses, to prom dresses to the “Wedding dress”! You are going to make a beautiful bride and a wonderful wife. I hope Patrick realizes what a great person he is marrying. I sure you will remind him!
I am very excited to be sharing your special day with you. You are getting an extra boost of love from your Late Grandparents, as Nanny’s bridal set is blessed again as you exchange your vows. She and your Grandfather will be smiling in Heaven.
